PRODUCT & FITMENT

What is GRIPFORCE designed to mount?
GRIPFORCE is designed to mount and organise lighting, cameras, communications equipment, electronics, sensors, wiring and other accessories across tubular and fabricated structures.

What types of tube can GRIPFORCE be used on?
GRIPFORCE can be used across round tube, roll cages, truss and fabricated structures, depending on the mount and application.

How do I choose the right GRIPFORCE product?
Start with what you need to mount. BASE creates the mounting point, PLATFORM supports equipment, WIRING secures cable runs and LINK helps route and organise cable ties and wiring.

Can I use GRIPFORCE as a complete system?
Yes. Each component can be used individually or combined with others to create a complete mounting and cable-management setup.

Can GRIPFORCE be repositioned?
Yes. One of the key benefits of the system is the ability to reposition components without drilling new holes or fabricating new mounting points.

INSTALLATION

How is GRIPFORCE installed?
GRIPFORCE mounts are secured to the structure using cable ties. Position the mount, route the ties through the mounting channels and tighten them securely around the tube.

Do I need to drill or weld anything?
No. GRIPFORCE is designed to create mounting points without drilling, welding or permanently modifying the structure.

Do I need special tools?
Most installations only require the appropriate cable ties and standard hand tools for the equipment being mounted.

Can I remove and reinstall the mounts?
Yes. Cut the existing cable ties, reposition the component and install it again using new cable ties.

How tight should the cable ties be?
They should be tightened firmly enough to fully engage the mount and Protective Grip surface against the tube without damaging the tie or the mounted equipment.

CABLE TIES & LOAD CAPACITY

Do cable ties affect how much weight a GRIPFORCE mount can hold?
Yes. The cable tie is an important part of the securing system. Tie quality, tensile strength, width, material and installation all influence the final holding capacity.

Does a stronger cable tie make the mount stronger?
Generally, a higher-quality, higher-capacity cable tie can provide greater clamping force and support more demanding loads than a light-duty tie.

What type of cable tie should I use?
Use a high-quality cable tie with a tensile rating appropriate for the equipment being mounted and the environment it will operate in.

Can I use any cable tie?
The mount may physically accept different ties, but not all cable ties offer the same strength, durability or temperature resistance. For higher-load or high-vibration applications, use a suitably rated premium tie.

Does GRIPFORCE have a fixed load rating?
The final load capacity depends on the complete installation, including the GRIPFORCE component, cable tie specification, tube size, surface condition, mounting position and operating environment.

Should I inspect the cable ties?
Yes. Cable ties should be inspected periodically, particularly in high-vibration, high-temperature, outdoor or motorsport applications, and replaced if damaged, worn or degraded.

GRIP & SURFACE PROTECTION

What is the Protective Grip interface?
The Protective Grip interface is the contact surface between the GRIPFORCE mount and the tube. It increases friction and helps keep the mount secure.

Does the Protective Grip help protect the tube?
Yes. It creates a softer contact surface between the mount and the structure, helping protect powder coat, anodised finishes and other finished surfaces.

Will the mount mark the tube?
GRIPFORCE is designed to reduce direct hard-surface contact, but surface condition, contamination, load and installation method can all affect the final result.

Why does increased grip matter?
More friction at the mounting point helps resist movement under vibration, impact and changing loads.

Should the tube be clean before installation?
Yes. Dirt, grease, dust or other contamination can reduce friction and affect how securely the mount sits against the surface.

APPLICATIONS

Where can GRIPFORCE be used?
GRIPFORCE is designed for motorsport, off-road, UTV, 4x4, truss, event production, fabrication and other technical installations built around tubular or fabricated structures.

What can I mount in motorsport and off-road applications?
Typical applications include lighting, cameras, radios, communications equipment, switch gear, electronics, sensors and cable management.

Can GRIPFORCE be used on truss systems?
Yes. GRIPFORCE can be used to create equipment and cable-management points across suitable truss and tubular structures without permanent modification.

Is GRIPFORCE suitable for high-vibration environments?
The system is designed with vibration, movement and demanding installations in mind. The final performance still depends on correct installation and the cable ties and hardware selected.

Can I use GRIPFORCE outdoors?
Yes, provided the components, cable ties and mounted equipment are suitable for the environmental conditions they will be exposed to.
