WARRANTY

Last updated: [DATE]

GRIPFORCE Tactical Mounts products are designed for demanding mounting and cable-management applications. We stand behind the quality of our products and warrant them against defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the terms below.

1. WARRANTY PERIOD

GRIPFORCE products are covered by a [INSERT WARRANTY PERIOD — e.g. 12 months / 2 years] warranty from the original date of purchase.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is provided in addition to any rights available under applicable consumer law.

2. WHAT THIS WARRANTY COVERS

This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that occur during normal and intended use of the product.

Where a valid warranty claim is accepted, GRIPFORCE may, at its option:

  • repair the product;
  • replace the product or affected component; or
  • provide another appropriate remedy.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law may entitle you to other remedies depending on the circumstances.

3. WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

This warranty does not cover damage, failure or deterioration caused by:

  • incorrect installation;
  • misuse, abuse or neglect;
  • use outside the intended application;
  • unauthorised modification or alteration;
  • accident, impact or collision;
  • excessive load or unsuitable mounting configuration;
  • normal wear and tear;
  • exposure to conditions beyond the product’s intended operating environment;
  • failure to inspect or maintain the installation;
  • use of unsuitable, damaged or incorrectly rated cable ties, fasteners or other installation hardware; or
  • damage caused by third-party equipment or accessories.

Cosmetic changes that do not affect product function may also fall outside this warranty.

4. CABLE TIES AND INSTALLATION HARDWARE

Where GRIPFORCE products rely on cable ties or other installation hardware, those components form part of the overall mounting system.

Installation strength and performance can be affected by:

  • cable tie quality;
  • tensile strength;
  • width and material;
  • age and condition;
  • installation tension;
  • tube size and surface condition; and
  • environmental exposure.

Third-party cable ties and installation hardware are not covered by the GRIPFORCE product warranty unless expressly supplied and warranted by GRIPFORCE.

Customers should use appropriately rated, high-quality cable ties for the intended load and environment.

5. LOAD AND APPLICATION

Unless a specific tested load rating is published for a GRIPFORCE product, no single load capacity should be assumed from the mount alone.

The performance of the complete installation depends on factors including the mount, cable ties, tube geometry, equipment weight, load direction, vibration, impact and installation method.

The customer is responsible for ensuring the complete installation is suitable for its intended application.

6. MOTORSPORT, OFF-ROAD AND HIGH-VIBRATION USE

Products used in motorsport, off-road, truss, event, industrial or other high-vibration environments should be inspected regularly.

Check the mount, cable ties, fasteners and mounted equipment for signs of movement, wear, damage or degradation.

Any damaged or compromised component should be replaced before continued use.
